So, due to watching Pitch Perfect three times last weekend, I've been obsessed with finding covers of "No Diggity," and Larie mentioned that this version was her favourite so I checked it out. Chet Faker's interpretation of "No Diggity" is such a striking contrast to the topic of the song and so different from many of the other covers out there that you can't help but stop and pay attention. It's mellow, groovy, and just... goddamn sexy. I love this cover so much that I went on to look up his other music and downloading his EP, Thinking in Textures. It's such a beautiful album that I wonder how I hadn't heard of Chet Faker before this. If you like straight-up chillin' music, he is so worth checking out. Thanks, Larie!
